Toggl Track Invoice Integration: Setup and Billing Checks Source: https://www.getinvoiceagent.com/integrations/toggl-track-invoice-integration Reviewed: 2026-09-30 | Owner: InvoiceAgent editorial team Reconcile personal project entries before billing. Do not record the API token in this file. Examples are invented, without tax or currency conversion. WORKED EXAMPLE Completed implementation: 8 hours. Approved client calls: 2 hours. Internal planning on the same project: 1 hour, outside the billable agreement. Import: 11 positive-duration hours x $90 USD = $990. Approved charge: 10 hours x $90 USD = $900. The current import does not apply the billable flag. Correct project allocation or use a reviewed manual line with refresh disabled. An unfinished timer with non-positive duration is excluded from the import. Non-billable entry included: correct allocation or use an approved fixed amount. Changing only the draft while leaving raw-hour refresh enabled can restore the unwanted charge. Report mismatch: compare account, project, timezone, period, finished timers, and billable filters. Token error: reconnect a valid token and check project access before retrying a failed refresh. Disconnect removes the local connection; revocation at Toggl is separate.
