A time export reconciliation preserves the meaning of a quantity before it enters an invoice. A value such as 1.30 can represent decimal hours or a clock-style duration depending on the export format. Copying the characters without confirming the unit can change the billed quantity.
The worksheet retains the untouched export, its format evidence, exact duration where available and the converted value. Record display precision separately from any approved billable rounding policy. Unit conversion does not establish that the work is eligible, approved or chargeable at a particular rate.
The fictional export contains one hour thirty minutes. Its exact duration is 90 minutes and its decimal quantity is 1.50 hours. A different source row explicitly marked 1.30 decimal hours represents 78 minutes. The record keeps these rows separate and captures who verified the transformation.

How to complete the template
Keep the original representation
Record export ID, service period and source row. Confirm whether the format uses seconds, minutes, HH:MM or decimal hours from the actual export specification or settings.
Convert with explicit precision
Retain original minutes and show the calculation into the destination unit. Note the number of decimal places accepted and any difference introduced by display rounding.
Reconcile the invoice quantities
Match reviewed quantities to approved work and rate references. Record any separately authorized billing transformation and compare the final preview with the source record.

Avoid this
Reading decimal fractions as minutes
1.30 decimal hours is 78 minutes, not 90. Confirm the unit before assigning a quantity.
Avoid this
Dropping the exact source duration
One minute displays as 0.02 hours at two decimals. Keep the original minute count so a later reviewer can explain the difference.

Questions people usually have before changing the workflow.
Does this approve a rounding increment?
No. It records conversion. Keep a separate agreement reference for any billing rounding operation.
Can I reconcile seconds?
Retain seconds in the source record and document your approved conversion. The companion calculator accepts whole-minute durations.
Does the same total prove the rows are correct?
No. Check work identity and each transformed row; offsetting errors can leave totals unchanged.
